cat_boxHOW LONG WILL YOU BOARD A CAT FOR?
For as long as the client needs.

DO YOU BOARD OTHER ANIMALS?
No, we are proud of our dedication to cats only. It’s what we do best.

MAY WE BRING OUR CAT’S FAVOURITE BLANKET, TOY, OR FOOD DISH?
Yes, we encourage you to bring whatever will help kitties settle in quickly. For example, you may want to bring a shirt with your scent, which can be left in the cage.

cat_slippersIS THERE SOMEONE AT THE KITTY CAMP PREMISES ALL THE TIME?
Yes, absolutely. Cats are monitored 24/7 for their wellbeing and our peace of mind, as well as yours.

MY CAT GOES OUTSIDE AND DOESN’T USE A LITTER BOX. WILL HE/SHE ADAPT?
Cats typically adapt to the litter box easily. We also have an outdoor garden that is routinely cleaned should some cats not adapt.

I DON’T WANT TO CHANGE MY KITTY’S DIET. CAN HE/SHE HAVE THE SAME FOOD WE USE AT HOME?
Yes, you are welcome to provide your kitty’s food with written instructions. You are asked to provide the correct quantity of food for the number of days that your cat will be boarding with us. Label it with your last name and the cat’s name. We do have a fridge for perishable items. There is no discounted rate in such instances due to the added complexity of personalised arrangements.

cat_pooWHAT VACCINATIONS DO I NEED FOR MY CAT?
All current vaccinations are important, so please check with your vet and ensure that all known vaccinations are up to date.

WHAT SPECIAL MEDICAL SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
We do not provide veterinary services, but if your kitty is on medication, we can administer this provided that we have specific instructions (i.e. dosage, how often to be administered, etc.).

IF MY KITTY NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET DURING HIS/HER STAY, HOW IS THAT HANDLED ?
On booking, you are asked to give us permission to make medical decisions on your behalf. We will decide the best course of action at our discretion. You need to accept full liability for any and all charges associated with any necessary treatments.

cat_moustacheI WOULD LIKE A TOUR OF YOUR FACILITIES BEFORE I BOARD MY CAT. HOW DO I ARRANGE THAT?
We encourage all new clients to visit our facility prior to making a booking. Call Kitty Camp between 9 am and 4 pm to make arrangements for a tour.

MAY I NOMINATE SOMEONE TO VISIT MY CAT WHILE I AM AWAY ?
By arrangement only. It is not advisable because it disturbs other cats, but depending on the length of stay, we may waive this rule.
